Bless the Lord oh my soul and forget not all of His snow storms.  Time will bring change as long as you are willing to take chances along the way.  We can look back at history and see how great people changed the world but we can somehow go through life feeling that we can’t do much.  I received an email from a teenager in Sydney and that was his dilemma.  He wanted change but he didn’t want to take any chances.  He hated what was but felt trapped and unable to make a difference.  I believe that we all go though such feelings but it’s important not to buy real estate in your wilderness.  Press on, the sun will shine, the snow will melt, and tomorrow will bring a better day.  2 Timothy 2:3 “You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”  Don’t allow your moments in the wilderness to cause you to forget the promises that await you in your Promise Land.
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on ‘Delivered and Freedom.’  Sometimes we can think because we are delivered from sin that we can automatically walk in freedom above sin.  Deliverance is an act of God while freedom is an act of truth.  If you don’t receive the truth after you get delivered you have swept the house clean but you never established truth and you end up walking away in frustration.  You also look at others and don’t understand how delivered people can still walk in bondage.  You shall know the truth…..and the truth shall make you free.  Sunday evening we are believing for a great time of word and worship signs and wonders.
Coming up next weekend @10:30am is our Good Friday Service with the Bethel Family Church in Glace Bay.  It’s always been a highlight of the Easter Weekend for our churches to join together.  Then on Saturday morning @8:30 is our annual Easter Men’s Breakfast.   We will have a big breakfast, good music, and our special speaker is Richard Bragdon the new director for Monty Lewis and Bridges of Canada.  He is noted as being a fire ball for the Lord.  If you have any question about the Breakfast or would like to help out please contact Martin McCarthy at 539-5355.  Easter Sunday morning  Richard will be the guest speaker at the church and there will be no evening service.
Continue to pray for those in need.   Lots of love, looking forward to seeing you Pastor Kevin and Alice

Praise the Lord for another wonder filled day.  I am expecting today to be a great day, a blessed day, a beautiful day for me to walk in and receive God’s Divine favor.  I do not base that on yesterday circumstances nor on tomorrow’s hopes but faith for me today is based on the fact that active faith is always in the now.  Now faith is Hebrews tells us.  God said about Himself that we were to address Him or call Him I AM.  Not I was before now nor one day I hope to be but right now I am whatever you need.  As a believer you are walking with I am right now and He is an ever present help.  In other words you walk to the degree of the revelation you have of who I am is to you.  He does not change but as your knowledge of Him increases you walk to a greater degree with I am.  My prayer for you today is to increase in the wisdom and revelation of who He is so you can obtain new heights and receive new blessings.
Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘Own & Owe.’  In all of our relationships that we have with others we have power over some things and others have power in some areas over us.  How do you balance yourself to be like Jesus in every relationship?  Sunday evening Pastor Bruce will be bringing the Word of the Lord.  Come out and bring a friend to hear the insights and wisdom as Pastor Bruce shares with us.
Continue to pray for all those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of Almighty God. Jesus asked His Disciples who they thought that He was. Matthew 16:16-19  Simon Peter said, “You’re the Christ, the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus came back, “God bless you, Simon, son of Jonah! You didn’t get that answer out of books or from teachers. My Father in heaven, God himself, let you in on this secret of who I really am. And now I’m going to tell you who you are, really are. You are Peter, a rock. This is the rock on which I will put together my church, a church so expansive with energy that not even the gates of hell will be able to keep it out. “And that’s not all. You will have complete and free access to God’s kingdom, keys to open any and every door: no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth and heaven. A yes on earth is yes in heaven. A no on earth is no in heaven.”  The power to do greater things came after receiving a greater revelation of who Jesus is.  If all you see is a little Jesus then that’s all you perceive that He is able to do.  If you see a big Jesus, the living Son of the living God, then you able to do greater things because of the greater or bigger revelation of who He is.  The greater He is to you the greater things that He can do through you.  May you receive today a bigger fresher revelation of our Savior Jesus.  Last Sunday morning there was a little problem with the CD of the message but that has been fixed and CD’s from last Sunday will be available this Sunday.  This message on relationships is an in season word. This is Family Sunday, get ready get ready get ready.  Invite your friends as the Lord has been using this event as a key within His Kingdom to open the hearts of His people.  We start @10:15 with food and fellowship and then go into the main service ending with Holy Communion.  I will be sharing on, “Treasure.”  Are there any Treasure seekers out there?  God has hidden Treasure around us that when we find it we become rich.  There is no evening service on Family Sunday. Continue to pray for those in need.  Alissa Snow (a young girl from our church) had to have emergency surgery yesterday.  We pray for her to have a quick and full recovery.  Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday, lots of love Pastor Kevin and Alice.

Praise the Lord as we head into another weekend.  It’s hard to believe that we missed two Sunday morning services in a row due to weather.  The Lord willing we will be together again real soon.  There is a story in the Bible of a woman who poured a bottle on perfumed oil over Jesus.  The perfume was expensive, a year’s wages.  Today even at minimum wage it would be worth $20,000.  It wasn’t that she did this act by accident or mistake but rather it was a planned deliberate action.  She waited for the right moment and then poured out the perfume declaring her great love for Jesus.  Some people don’t understand great love, love that knows no limits, love that doesn’t count the cost but must declare itself, love that can withstand rejection or misunderstanding, like the love that God had for you when He sent Jesus.  ‘Oh the love that drew Salvation’s plan, Oh the love that brought it down to man, Oh the mighty gulf that God did span at Calvary.’  May you plan today to declare your great love for Jesus to your world.
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘Unhealthy Relationships.’  It’s often the result of living in an unhealthy environment that creates unhealthy relationships.  God made a proper environment for everything in creation to grow to its full potential.  The Holy Spirit has given me some secrets to success that you won’t want to miss.  Sunday evening Pastor Mark will be sharing and this will be a great service for you to invite any unsaved friends.  It’s time to believe for a miracle.
Continue to pray for those in need.  Looking forward to Sunday where we can pour out our love for God together.  Lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Praise the Lord.  John 12:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.”  The seed all by itself has the potential to become greater than what you see and the ground has the power to produce something greater from the seeds of your potential.  If the owner of the seed or the holder of the potential refuses to submit to the ground that would empower them then the seed remains a seed even though it’s full of potential.  Have you ever seen someone who was full of potential but refused to submit to the ground of authority that was in their life to empower them?  They could have been a great leader but they refused to submit to the other leaders that were in their life.  They could have been a great Christian but they refused to submit to the power of the Holy Spirit.  Romans 13:1 “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.”  I believe that in you God has placed the seeds of great potential and as you fall into the good ground of God’s word and become grounded and rooted in Christ you shall produce 30, 60, and 100 times more than that which you started with.  Thank God for God.  Psalm 92:13 “Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God.”  Allow yourself to be planted in His house and God will empower your potential to bring increase into the courts of your life.
This Sunday the Lord willing we will be back at church.  Missing last Sunday because of the weather buts a greater desire in my heart to get together with God and like believers.  Two weeks ago three people had accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and I spoke with one of them this past week.  He said in the service he felt an overwhelming love in the room and tears of joy that ran down his face and the gladness in his heart was wonderful.  It’s great to hear the report of God’s amazing grace at work.
In the morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘Hidden Treasure.’  The Bible tells us that God has hidden treasure around us but I am afraid that we often overlook where He hid it.  Sunday evening, ‘Bones In Your Closet.’  Bones by themselves have no power but you can empower bones to bless you or empower bones to hurt you.  What have you been doing with your bones?
Continue to pray for those in need as you continue to do what you can do to help others.  I’m really looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Hello and praise the Lord for another glorious day.  There is an interesting story in the Bible how Jesus and His disciples came across a blind man and how the disciples asked Jesus a question.  ‘Who sinned, this man or his parents?’  They gave Jesus an interesting question with the two most common answers.  Jesus said that neither one of their answers were correct.  It shows us that when the world limits our circumstances to two choices, our God has other ways to set us free.  Jesus said that this blindness was to reveal the power of God.  What?  Who wants to be blind to reveal the power of God?  I don’t see a long line forming.  Jesus spits on the ground and puts the mud on the blind man’s eyes and his sight is restored.  We see many pictures of Jesus but I don’t recall seeing any pictures of Jesus spitting.  We tell our children not to be spitting but Jesus spit. So often we look at these stories and don’t understand what the Lord is saying.  Think about it today, you may not have all the answers and His answer may not be the one that you want to hear.  Jesus is preparing us for our future so we can’t determine all that is ahead of us based on all that is behind us.  Look up and expect freshness from our Lord.
This Sunday morning, the Lord willing and weather permitting, I’ll be sharing on, ‘Hidden Treasure.’  The Bible tells us that God has hidden treasure around us but I am afraid that we often overlook where He hid it.  Sunday evening, ‘Bones In Your Closet.’  Bones by themselves have no power but you can empower bones to bless you or empower bones to hurt you.  What have you been doing with your bones?
Continue to pray for those in need.  Hope to see you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

God is good and He is good all the time.  The trouble is, even when we are doing our best we can run into people who aren’t.  We are faced with bad situations which can lead us into feeling disappointed.  Jesus was out doing good, teaching about His loving Father’s Kingdom when religious leaders took a woman to Him who had been cheating on her husband.  The religious leaders said, ‘the law says to stone her, what do you say Jesus.’  They want to get Jesus caught up in their drama and the accusers were hoping to trick Jesus into saying something wrong.  If He says to stone her He shows no compassion and if He says let her go He breaks the law.  Have you even been caught up in some drama?  Jesus looks at them with eyes that spoke, ‘I guess you fellows have never made a mistake?’  Then in front of them He writes some things in the sand.  As He wrote No one spoke in their defense over what He wrote but they just quietly walked away.  He looks at the woman and says that He will not condemn her but adds some good advice, ‘go and sin no more.’  I guess we all can run into people that are less than perfect but remember not to condemn them when you have the power to cover them.  Jesus was able to find the middle ground where He was able to reveal His Father’s love.

This is Family Sunday and I hope that you are preparing some good food to bring and have invited a few friends to come to church with you.  I have watched over the last while how the Holy Spirit has used this event to bless and move in our midst.  It’s wonderful to hear how so many people are seeing visions, receiving healings, and being touched by the anointing in our Family Sunday service.   It all starts @10:15 for the food and fellowship followed by the morning service and ending with communion, come expecting a miracle.  There is no evening service on Family Sunday.
Continue to pray for those in need, looking forward to seeing you, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice
