Well Happy Birthday to Pastor Bruce, may he have a great wonder filled day today.  Birthday's are something we all get to have, I remember growing up and my birthday was at the end of November and our family didn't have much so I never got much for my birthday.  It was my Mom who would give me hope and say, 'Christmas is coming.'  It's strange how a future hope for something better can help to make us endure the disappointment of the present moment.  This is the great truth that is found in the great hope of the gospel.  Psalm 30:5 "... His favour is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning."  We may need to go through some stuff but we are going through and not camping out.  Never buy real estate in your wilderness when your property is in the Promise Land.
This Sunday I'll be sharing on, 'I Came To Go Higher.'  I believe that we all want to go higher in God but we don't always understand God's method to bring us higher.  Sunday evening Pastor Mark will be sharing the Word of the Lord.  Pastor Mark is gifted to see people helped, healed, and restored.
Next Sunday April 6th is Family Sunday and we will have with us as our special speaker Pastor Bruce Morrison.  Pastor Bruce Pastor's the Christian Fellowship Church in New Glasgow.  Pastor Bruce has a burden for the lost and worked for many years as a missionary to the Labrador coast.  He's on the board of directors for Bridges of Canada a Prison Ministry founded by Monty Lewis.  Pastor Bruce also worked at ground zero in New York City as a volunteer.
Continue to pray for all those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Greetings in the name of the Lord.  On the treadmill this morning as I walked and prayed I was thinking how we look up to God when we pray and down to address the devil.  I remember a preacher saying long ago that looking up or down is really not important because the presence of good and evil is everywhere.  I did understand the preacher's point but there's another point that you miss if you take that point as the only point.  Naturally it's true good and evil is everywhere but spiritually God is high and lifted up and Jesus said that He saw Satan fall as lightning.  The devil is under our feet and we go up into the presence of the Lord.  How you see things in the natural is one thing and how you see things spiritually is another.  I know it's not a big deal which way you see it but when I die I'm planning on going up and not down.  When I pray to the Lord my natural body takes a humble position as my spiritual man looks up to Christ the author and finisher of my faith
This Sunday morning I'll be sharing on, 'A Changed Mind.'  There is likely nothing more life changing that can change who you are as when you change your mind.  The question is, when we are thinking wrong how does God get us to change our mind?  Sunday evening, 'Asking Twice.'  We seem to ask once and if we don't receive we give up.  Question, what would happen if we asked again?
Remember to pray for those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love Pastor Kevin and Alice

Bless the Lord oh my soul.  I was thinking this morning how there are evil systems at work in the world and how its proper for the righteous to oppose them or at least avoid joining in with such things.  On the other hand when there are Godly systems at work it is proper for the righteous to surrender their will and follow what God is trying to establish on the earth.  Jesus said follow Me but there are times even the simplest of instructions can be hard to obey.
Paul said in Ephesians 4:11-13  "And He (Jesus) Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ."
We all want to come into the fullness of our blessing but it can be hard to find proper Godly leadership to follow.  The trouble iseven the best leaders and the best followers are not perfect.  If leaders analyse people looking for perfection they will end up criticizing all those that follow.  If followers analyse leaders looking for perfection then they will end up criticising their leaders.  True unity can only be reached by faith and by working together in love using grace and mercy we then create the perfect man called the church.  If you take your godliness and I take my godliness and we join them together with others, we will together reveal something that the world has never seen.
This Sunday morning I'll be sharing on, 'Seeds For Every Season.'  For every need we have, God has a seed to meet that need.  In areas where we struggle God plants a seed for our greatest success.  Sunday evening Pastor Bruce will be sharing the Word of the Lord.  Come out and bring a friend and lets enjoy the presence of the Lord together.
Continue to pray for those in need, looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice.

Praise the Lord for He is good. Psalm 139:23-24 "Look through me, O God, and know my heart. Try me and know my thoughts. See if there is any sinful way in me and lead me in the way that lasts forever."   If there is any sinful way the writer knows that it's not in God but in us.  The bible says that all the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth.  In God there is no lie nor is there even a shadow or a hint of turning.  He is always the same, it is us who are to bring our thoughts to the Lord for an x-ray.  He sees our inner thinking and He lovingly reveals things to us what we may walk in the right direction.  There is a difference between hearing someone's opinion and following someone's advice.  We are to pray to God as followers and not as opinion seekers.  May the Lord lead you today into a place of greater blessing.
This Sunday morning I'll be sharing on, 'Picking Partners.'  Who we choose to walk with will often determine where we end up.  Why did Jesus pick the 12 disciples?  Sunday evening, 'Your Inner Ear.'  If you only hear the voice of man then man is all you'll follow but once you tap into the voice of the Lord then He can lead you to places you never dreamed possible.
Continue to pray for those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice
