Praise the Lord great things He is doing.  Jesus said that He was about His Father's business and there is a need for all of us to include or incorporate Father's business in our business.  We don't have the calling of Jesus to die for sin but we do have a calling from Jesus to work the works of the Kingdom of God where ever we are.  As you go about your business whisper a request to our Father above, 'Is there anything that I can do today to allow Your Kingdom to come and Your will to be done in me, through me, and around me.'  1 Corinthians 3:9 "For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building."  It's not one of us alone but all of us together.
Tomorrow afternoon at the North Sydney Rink our church is hosting a Church Family Skate.  From 3:30 to 4:30 with food and Fellowship to follow.  This is for everybody so bring a friend.  There are also plans being made for a wagon ride in the snow at Two Rivers Wildlife Park.  Martin is getting the numbers together so sign up this Sunday.
This is Family Sunday so get, ready get, ready get to be blessed.  God has been richly anointing us on Family Sunday so invite someone to sit with you.  We start at 10:15 with food and fellowship followed by the morning service.  I'll be sharing a word, 'Do You Know The Purpose?'  God designed everything on purpose with a purpose and if you don't know the purpose of a thing you'll likely abuse the thing.  Wisdom, knowledge, and understanding come to renew our mind so we can properly use things to bless our lives.  We will have Communion and on family Sunday there is no evening service.
Continue to pray for those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Variety is the spice of life or doing many things is better than doing one thing all the time.  We have what we have to work with today but beyond that God is creative and He made mankind like Himself.  It's the ability to colour outside the lines or to see things outside the box, to boldly go beyond the borders of our present circumstances and walk by faith.  We believe that all things are flexible and that all things can change no matter who or what has defined them.  We declare that with God all things are possible to them that believe.  God is bigger than what you think so don't just focus on the negative thing but look beyond that, press beyond that, reach beyond that, stretch beyond that, and believe beyond that for God is good.  Ephesians 3:20 "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."  Go ahead, ask the Lord for a vision to colour outside the lines of your life today.
This Sunday morning I'll be sharing on, 'When Seasons Change.'  In the natural there are certain things that happen when we change seasons and so it is in the spirit realm.  What are we to look for and how are we to respond to changing times?  Sunday evening Pastor Mark will be sharing the Word of the Lord.  Expect to see signs and wonders as we come together.
Next Sunday is Family Sunday and if you look around the church there are many new people in the pew that have come to church as a direct result of being invited out to Family Sunday.  Souls are being saved because God has anointed our efforts to reach the lost and we rejoice.  Take time today to pray and ask the Lord who you should invite to sit with you next Sunday.
Rejoice and give thanks for the goodness of God and continue to pray for all those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

I will bless the Lord at all times.  This past Tuesday I was sliding on the ice with my boots and slipped.  In the fall I banged my head and discovered that ice is harder than head.  Keep me in your prayers as the cure is to have plenty of rest.
Paul the Apostle said in Philippians 3:13-14 “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”  I’ve found that life is not just about answering hard questions but it's a quest to fulfill and a destiny to discover.  Having the right answer is not nearly as important as heading in the right direction?  The question for 2015; Am I growing up or am I just growing older?  When we talk about a movie with mature subject matter, is it really for the mature or is it for immature older people?  The Bible is like a road map and we are on a journey.  Is forgetting hurts and growing up hard?  Yes.  How do I know that….  I’m still working at it.  I have apprehended some stuff and I still make mistakes but if I’m pressing on in the right direction, the Lord will go before me and show me His mercy and grace.
This Sunday in the morning service Pastor Bruce will be sharing the message and in the evening Louie Campbell. The Lord has given us different gifts in the Body of Christ with different Holy Ghost views, hopes, and dreams for the New Year.  Come our this Sunday and be encouraged by the word of the Lord.
Continue to pray for all those in need.  Lots of love, looking forward to seeing you, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Proverbs 9:9 "Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning."  There is something in the heart of a person who wants to learn that helps them to go beyond normal living.  Their desire for wisdom doesn't allow them to camp out in the land of foolishness, envy, and jealousy.  Wisdom kicks them out of bed in the morning and tells them to get moving and be productive.  Some people hope that good fortune will find them, wisdom looks to find good fortune.  Foolish people live by accident, wise people live on purpose.  Foolish people are never sure what right and wrong is but wise people know the difference.  Pray that this year will be a year where wisdom will prevail in every area of your life.
This Sunday morning I'll be sharing on, 'Wanting to Work Together.'  Working together gives us our greatest rewards and reveals the greatest secrets of our heart.  Sunday evening, 'My Mind and My Mouth.'  Have you ever said something that maybe you shouldn't have said?  What should we have in our mind before we open our mouth?
Continue to pray for those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love Pastor Kevin and Alice.

We give thanks to the Lord that He is good and His mercies are new every morning.  The Bible tells us that there is nothing new under the sun and yet lots of things can be renewed as we pray.  Love is not new to us but we can renew our love and love more than ever before.  Faith is not new to us but we can renew our faith to believe for greater and greater things.  When we pray this year may it be to see a year of renewal as we give thanks to the Lord for where we have come from and be stirred to press on to all that is before us.  We give thanks as we expect something good is going to happen today.  May each day of this new year unfold like an blooming flower for you and your family as you behold His beauty and glory.
This Sunday the Lord willing and weather permitting will be our first Family Sunday in 2015.  Get ready, get ready, get ready... we start things at 10:15 with breakfast food and fellowship followed by the morning service.  I'll be sharing on'Achieving Success.'  Succeed is more of an attitude you have to give to help others than it is a talent to get things for yourself.  Will the new year hold success for you?  The answer will have a lot to do with your attitude.  There will be Communion at the end of the morning service and there will be no evening service.
Continue to pray for all those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice
