Praise the Lord for He gave us His blessings that we could become a blessing to others.  We are to love others with the same love He gives us.  Forgive others according to how He has forgiven us and on and on it goes.  Everything that comes from God that’s for you, is to go through you to the world around you.  We often ask God for some great blessings with no intention of sharing them with others.  God wants to bless us and it’s up to us to have the right heart in receiving them.  Look at the stuff around you, the stuff that belongs to you and then look at your heart, is all that you own yours or is it the tools the Lord has supplied to you to bless others?  Christmas is the greatest revelation of this principle.  God had His Son in Heaven but God so loved the world that he was willing to share His Son to meet our need.  Jesus could have stayed in Heaven and left us in our sin but He shared what He had with us.  He was blessed to be the Son of God and to have sinless blood and He gave His blood to redeem you and me.  When you see someone in need be generous with all that the Lord has blessed you with.
Tonight @ 7 and next Friday @ 7 our choir will be singing at the Mayflower Mall.  If you at around drop by and support them as they sing the songs of the Christmas season.  Tomorrow Saturday there is a practice for all those involved in the Sunday School Christmas presentation which will be the main event Sunday morning.  We consider this to be a highlight of the year as the children act out the Christmas story.  There will be no evening service this Sunday.  Next Sunday Dec. 23 regular morning service with a 6 pm evening service with singing, rejoicing, worship, and pray.  On Monday Dec. 24th @10:30 we sing at Loaves and Fishes for 1 hour.  All of these events are being posted on our web page.  Please check it out if you have any questions or send me an email.
Continue to pray for those in need, hope to see you over the weekend, lots of love Pastor Kevin and Alice

Another day to give thanks and another day to share God’s love with someone. How important is it to love others?  John 13:35 “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”  I could read 1 Corinthians 13 as some of the rules on love but most of us understand about what it means to love.  Most of us have the Bible kind of love for our children, grandchildren, and our spouse but do we have that same level and desire to love all other people?  The greater we love all people the greater we will understand God’s message of love and how it applies to the entire world.  Be aware to show all the people you meet today the love of God.
Tomorrow evening….. Dec. 8th is Christmas Banquet 2012.  We’ll have special music, great food, and fellowship with guest speaker Pastor Sherrie MacLean.  On Sunday Dec. 9th there will be a morning service only and our guest speaker is Pastor Steve MacLean.  Pastor’s Steve and Sherrie Pastor at the Moncton Victory Church and are the overseers for the Victory Churches in Atlantic Canada.  Our choir have been practicing and they sound like Angels.  On Friday Dec. 14th and Friday Dec. 21st our choir will be singing at the Mayflower Mall @ 7pm.  Sunday Dec. 16th is our Christmas Sunday School Presentation, there will be no evening service.  Sunday Dec.
Continue to pray for all those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you at the Banquet, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Bless the Lord oh my soul.  Jesus picked His Disciples on purpose for a purpose.  They were chosen in their day just as we have been chosen in our day.  We have been Chosen on purpose in spite of the fact that we are just like they were with our own struggles, weaknesses, and fears.  The good news is we have faith and Jesus saw that in us when He chose us and by faith we can overcome our struggles, weaknesses, and fears.  We were the right choice to change our world unless you think God makes mistakes.  You are the exact right choice to be a witness to your friends.  Now don’t get to puffed up.  1 Corinthians 1:27 “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty.”  God saw your problems as stones that could be used as weights to bring you down or stepping stones to bring you up into a better future.  He will set you free and bring you into blessing to reveal just how powerful He is.  So lift up your head, God picked you, and I believe He made a great choice.
This is one year ago this month since we started having Family Sunday.  I want to thank all those that make it happen, bringing in food, inviting friends, and by showing love and kindness.  We start @ 10:15 with breakfast food, followed by the service.  I’ll be speaking on, ‘A Shadow Reveals Things.’  We will also receive a Building Fund Offering, we will share in the Communion, and on Family Sunday there is no evening service.  Next Saturday Dec. 8th is our Christmas Banquet, guest speaker Pastor Sherrie MacLean.  Then on Sunday Dec. 9th there will be a morning service only, our guest speaker Pastor Steve MacLean.  Pastor’s Steve and Sherrie Pastor at the Moncton Victory Church and are the overseers for the Victory Churches in Atlantic Canada.  Friday Dec. 14th and Friday Dec. 21st our choir will be singing at the Mayflower Mall @ 7pm.  Sunday Dec. 16th is our Christmas Sunday School Presentation, there will be no evening service.  There is no Bible Studies on the Wednesday’s. in Dec. as our choir is using that evening to prepare for their special events. Sunday Dec.

Praise the Lord for another day to enjoy.  It’s that time of year when things are starting to get chilly and we need to turn up the heat.  There was one person who kept their home real cold, when people would say, ‘it’s cold in here,’ he would reply, ‘that’s the way that I like it.’   I have discover over the years that some people can have a cold personality and it seems, ‘that’s the way that they like it.’  Their cold shoulder, freezing glare, ice box words all work to keep a chilly atmosphere around them.  Enough cold people in a room or in a church and no one is enjoying themselves and no one wants to be there.  Work today to be a warmer person. Warm up to others and others will warm up to you.
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘A Proper Turnaround.’  In the military they teach everyone the proper way to turnaround or what they call, ‘about face!’  The Bible gives us a proper process to have a turnaround.  It’s when you want to go from going in the wrong direction to going in the right direction.  Not everyone follows the correct way to turn so things don’t turn out right.  Sunday evening Pastor Bruce will be sharing the word of the Lord and he always gives us some meat of the word to chew on.  Invite a friend and enjoy the service.
Next Sunday Dec. 2nd is Family Sunday and we start @ 10:15, no evening service on Family Sunday.  Saturday Dec. 8th is our Christmas Banquet, guest speaker Pastor Sherrie MacLean.  Sunday Dec. 9th there will be a morning service only, guest speaker Pastor Steve MacLean. Sunday Dec. 23 regular morning service with a 6 pm evening service with singing, rejoicing, worship, and pray.  On Monday Dec. 24th @10:30 we sing at Loaves and Fishes for 1 hour.  All of these events are being posted on our web page.  Please check it out if you have any questions.

Onward Christian soldier or onward Christian whatever your duty calls you to do today.  We are a Christian because we belong to Christ so our position is fixed in Christ.  What we do from that position of belonging to Christ is according to how mature we are in our mind, will, and emotions.  Some people are truly saved but are yet still really immature.  Our job then comes in serving the Lord with gladness or having a servant’s heart.  This was the great example set by Jesus.  If you want to show Christ today, find a need and offer your help to fix it.
This Sunday in the am I’ll be sharing on, ‘All Aboard.’  Often in our walk with God we encounter an opportunity to go higher but we miss the ride that would take us there.  The opportunity of a lifetime must be taken within the lifetime of the opportunity.  Your miracle has a shelf life or a best before date.  Are you all aboard for what the Lord is about to do?  In the pm I’ll be sharing on, ‘We Are Who We Are.’ We are not divine but we do have a divine assignment.  How do we serve Him who is righteous when all our righteousness is a filthy rags?
Continue to pray for all those in need.  Invite someone to church with you this week.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

This is great day to be a part of the Kingdom of God.  Just as in the way that all of creation was created by the living Word so our Heavenly Father is still holding everything together.  The faithfulness of our God has been to do this since time began and His future promises are eternal.  Some days we may think that things are out of control because it seems like our personal world is out of control.  It’s only by trusting in the Lord that we learn that all things will and do work together for good.  Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but if we keep believing, Faithful One will work all things out to reveal His glory.
Tonight @ 7 the Christian School is having an evening of praise and worship to celebrate what the Lord has done at the school and all are welcome to attend. (Dress warm)
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘Healing Us All.’  Jesus has the authority and the power to heal us all but sometimes our past thinking stands against us, like an enemy it keeps us from receiving His present truth.  Often the Word works to renew our mind to reposition us so we can receive the healing word we need.  Sunday evening Pastor Mark will be sharing the Word.  Pastor Mark and his dad Maurice have been doing a lot of renovations lately.  Pastor Mark and Amy have bought a older home on Curry Street.  They have been deep in the process of ripping up, tearing down, remolding and remodeling to make that which was one way anew.  Sounds like the Gospel to me.
Continue to pray for those in need.
Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Psalm 103:1-2 “Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.”  The Lord is worthy of all our praise because He is forever good.  He not only promises us great and precious promises but He delivers whatever He has promised.  It’s one thing to promise something great but it’s another thing to deliver.  The good news is God can do exceedingly above all that we can ask or think.  If you don’t have much to thank God for today then look up to the Lord and He will reveal Himself and you will rejoice.
This is Family Sunday and we are expecting a great day in the House of the Lord.  We start @10:15 with some breakfast food followed by our morning service.  I will be sharing on, ‘The Keys To The Kingdom.’  A key works to open a lock because it is a key.  The person using the key doesn’t need to be perfect but only willing to use the key.  We will also be receiving a special Building Fund offering.  There will be special music and we will end the service with Communion.  Don’t forget to invite a friend or two to church.  On Family Sunday there is no evening service.
Continue to pray for those in need.  Lots of love, looking forward to seeing you, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Friday, October 26th, 2012

In the beginning God spoke and the world has mistaken God’s still small voice for a big bang.  I wonder what the world will come up with when we hear that last trumpet call?  What a day that will be, when Jesus we shall see, and when we look upon His face, the One who saved us by His grace.  It’s not that we are looking to get carried away until after we carry out our calling to reach everyone with the good news of the Gospel but it is a great hope that He shall one day return and straighten out the mess.  His glorious Church will get carried awaybut until then we shall become all things to all men whereby we might win some.
This Sunday morning we will have will us a missionary to the Amazon.   Arturo Sanchez has many real life experiences at seeing God reveal Himself with outstanding miracles.  In the evening I’ll be sharing on, ‘If You Only Knew.’  If you only knew what God knows things would become a whole lot better.  God isn’t hiding Himself but rather He is looking to reveal Himself that our joy might be full.
Next Sunday is Family Sunday with breakfast @ 10:15 followed by the morning service, communion, and a special building fund offering.  There is no evening service on Family Sunday.
Continue to pray for those that are in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Monday 15 October 2012

Friday, October 12th, 2012

It’s a great day to Praise the Lord.  Praising the Lord is to be a lifestyle and not just a Sunday event.  Every day we need to have a mindset that we will give praise to our God who has saved us and is now in charge of looking after us.  Winston Churchill said, If you’re going through trouble, keep going.’  Praise can only be an outward expression that you show just because you’re happy or praise can be an act of faith declaring that you believe on the inside that the sun is going to shine again.  Our praise should be continual no matter what the circumstances are around us.  Wouldn’t it be great if when the devil threw a dart, he would think that he missed because you just kept praising the Lord.
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘Asking To Be Blessed.’  We likely all think that we can handle higher levels of blessing but the Lord always prepares us for what He has prepared for us.  If we can’t maintain love, joy, and peace where we now are, having more things around us would only create more problems for us.  In the evening, ‘It’s About Time.’  It’s amazing to me that we can embrace the season we’re in and yet miss the moment.  Jesus said that the leaders in His day could read the signs in the sky but didn’t understand who He was.  Can we go through life and miss our God moments?
Continue to pray for those in need.  Donnie Campbell is in the hospital for knee surgery but he is also having some heart problems.  Keith McKeen’s Mother, Lillie Mae McKeen went home to be with the Lord this pass Wednesday.  Pray for the family to be comforted as they celebrate her life.
Have a super day, looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Psalm 68:19 “Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Selah.”  In everyday there are benefits placed within the day for the believer to receive.  When you understand this, as you enter each new day you expect the benefits of the day to rest on you.  This scripture states, ‘who daily loads us with benefits.’  It didn’t say who will load us with benefits as a future promise or who may load us with benefits based on our performance but this is stating a fact about God and how He treats us who believe.  Expect today to be loaded with His benefits for you to enjoy.
This Sunday morning we’ll have with us Pastor Ted Yuke from the Rock Church in Lower Sackville.  Pastor Ted has been a long time friend to my family and our church.   Pastor Ted has a prophetic and exhortative gift to call the church to repentance and to inspire believers to fulfill their God-given destiny in Christ. His messages are dramatic and vivid and his illustrative preaching style deals directly with the issues of the day. Pastor Ted’s stability, insight and godly wisdom are sought out by pastors and church leaders throughout the world. This anointing upon Pastor Ted has brought invitations to speak at conferences and seminars around the world.  In the evening service Pastor Mark will be sharing some insights on God’s power to heal.  If you know someone who needs a healing touch this will be a great service to invite them to.
Next Sunday Oct. 7th is Family Sunday, we’ll start the service @ 10:15 with a breakfast followed by the morning service, communion and a building fund offering.  Family Sunday is geared and focused on us having Fellowship as a family and it’s a great opportunity for you to invite someone to  come with you to church.
Continue to pray for those in need.  Lots of love, looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Friday 21 September 2012

Friday, September 21st, 2012

Psalm 118:24 “This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Within each day there are things to be glad about so don’t miss your moments to rejoice.  There was a person I know who was always complaining about a certain thing, I said, ‘if the Lord fixes this for you you’ll have nothing to talk about.’  If you believe that the Lord made the day then your job is to rejoice and be glad.  If you practice doing the right thing then the complaining should stop.
This past Wednesday the Bible Study was awesome with over 50 people enjoying the presence of the Lord and the teaching of Robert Morris.  This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘Following The Word.’  Jesus said to build your life on the Word.  When a storm hits your house the deciding factor of surviving the storm is not the size of the storm nor it is the type of people who live in the house but it’s what did you build your house with.  Sunday evening, ‘Don’t Miss The Party.’  It’s possible to be invited to a party and miss it.  Missing it because you are uninterested, uncaring, unwilling, or just too busy doing other things.  God invites us to celebrate together all the time so let the party begin.
Next Sunday morning Pastor Ted Yuke from the Rock Church will be with us.  The following Sunday is Family Sunday so start to think of some friends that you could invite out to church.  Continue to pray for those in need, Pastor Bob and Karen Lawther, the new converts in the church, and the Nation of Israel.
Have a blessed day, hope to see you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice.

Friday 14 September 2012

Friday, September 14th, 2012

Praise the Lord Jesus for another wonder filled day.  We started our Bible Study on this past Wednesday evening and it began a 7 week series with Robert Morris.  It was awesome with almost 40 people enjoying our time together.  There will be a certificate for those that attend at least 5 of the 7 sessions.  In John 8:12 “Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”  Jesus said that there would be benefits to following Him.  One of His promises are, we shall not walk in darkness.  Jesus doesn’t lead us into darkness but rather He leads us out of darkness and into light.  When a believer chooses to dwell in darkness it is a sign that they are unwilling to take up their cross and follow the Lord. Walking in the light doesn’t make us immune to trouble but we don’t face trouble in the dark for we are children of the light.  We may have been reviled and falsely accused from people who live in darkness but we declare that the light of the world lives inside of us.  SO…Why so downcast oh my soul put your trust in God and lift up your head and let your light shine.
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘Forward Motion.’  There are many ways in which the Lord will call us to advance but every way that the Lord uses has a way of drawing us forward into something greater.  In the evening I’ll be sharing on, ‘Rooted In.’  Everyone is rooted into something and what we see growing on the branches declares what’s been developing in the roots.
Continue to pray for those in need.  Hope to see you on Sunday, lots of love Pastor Kevin and Alice

Saturday 8 September 2012

Friday, September 7th, 2012

Praise the Lord for another wonder-filled day.  I thought if you were a bird and decided to fly backwards, then you’d see everywhere you’ve been.  By going backwards your future would be a repeat of your past and where you were is where you’re going.  Only by looking ahead do we see on the horizon the great things that are to come.  In Philippians 3:12 Paul writes, Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.”  Paul knew that in spite of the victories and trials of the past, the future would reveal the seasons and reasons for which he was called.  The Church is a divine group of called out ones who are workers together in this hour to see the Kingdom of God revealed.  Our future is spread out before us and we must press into it together.
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, “Remember The Leftovers.”  Often it is the remembering of past victories that enable us to defeat present problems.  If we forget where we’ve been we may lose track of where we’re going.  The devils job is to make us view a present storm as overwhelming.  When Jesus came walking on the water He reveals to us that He can walk on top of what we think is trying to take us under.  Sunday evening Lord willing there will be a Water Baptism service at the Tobin’s pool.  We have several adults wanting to follow the Lord and obey the scriptures by being baptized.  We’ll start at 5 with a barbeque followed by the Baptism service at 6.  This Wednesday at 7 we startup our midweek Bible Study.  Yes the summer is over so plan to attend midweek and grow in the knowledge and wisdom of the Lord.
Continue to pray for those in need and those that lead us in the ways of the Lord.  Hope to see you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice.
