Praise the Lord Jesus for another wonder filled day.  The Lord is working to enlarge our world and in order to enlarge our outer world the Holy Spirit must first work to enlarge our inner world.  It’s seems that we can never manage and maintain outwardly what we haven’t enlarged and accepted inwardly.  Real change effects our attitude as well as our actions.  It’s possible to have the right actions but destroy things with a bad attitude.  1 Peter 3:8  “Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters.  Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.” (New Living Translation)  As you work with God He works with you and a new level of love fills your world.
On this past Tuesday we received word that Rev. Monty Lewis went home to be with the Lord.  He was just with us this past Easter and he walked in a powerful anointing.  Growing up in New Waterford he lived a life of sin and was always in trouble.  Feared and hated, Monty ended up in prison, and while in the hole of a jail, a Salvation Army officer walked by and asked Monty if he knew that he was a sinner.  Those words went deep into his heart and Monty confessed his sin and accepted Jesus as his Lord.  Jesus in a moment changed Monty’s life and Monty has lived his life since then to rescue the lost, reach the hurting, and help the down and out.  Please pray for his family as the funeral service is tomorrow in Fredericton, NB.
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘Changing For The Better.’  In order to become a better person we must be shown a better way.  God always sends someone to you to point you in the right direction.  If you don’t like the vessel who carries the message then you won’t embrace the word that they were sent to give you.  Sunday evening we are hoping to have our first Drive-in service of the year. Weather permitting we will be on our church property on Grand Lake Road @6.  Come and bring a friend as Pastor Mark shares with us the word of the Lord.
Continue to pray for those in need, looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love Pastor Kevin and Alice

Praise the Lord Jesus for giving us such a wonderful positive message of Salvation.  I was thinking about all the negative people in this world, all the people that see the glass half empty, all the people that see a 10% chance of rain rather than a 90% chance of sunshine.  Psalm 118:24 “This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.”  The very fact that we believe that it was our God who made today, that should be reason enough to start to rejoice and be glad.  We can all have days that we don’t want to repeat but even those days the Lord can work them together and make the end result come out for our good.  The sun is shining outside as I write this but even if it wasn’t out where I can see it, the sun is still shining just above the clouds.  Look to the Lord today and be positive for His message is still the best good news that there is.
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘Enlarge Your Vision.’  When you are praying for something you have to first see it in the realm of the invisible, then confess it by word and deed, then prepare to receive it into your world.  In the evening service I’ll be sharing on, ‘Keeping the Faith.’  It’s one thing to be saved by faith but have you been keeping the faith?  There is in all of us a place or a cup that holds current faith and we use current faith to believe for current miracles.  The cup is filled up by His Word or faith comes to us by us hearing His Word.  As we dip our cup into the river of His living water all things become possible.  It is by faith that comes from His word that we believe for salvation and it’s after salvation that we must continue living by faith in the river of His word.  That way our cup is always full and running over.  Have you stepped out into the river and dipped your cup into the water lately?
Continue to pray for all those in need, looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Praise the Lord, Acts 3:19 “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”  There are times, times when refreshing or a flow of blessings comes from the presence of the Lord.  The question is, what triggers God’s hand to be extended towards us?  In this verse there is a connection between the sin that was in these Jews that Peter was talking to and the desire of God to bless them.  I was at the Correctional Center this week visiting an inmate and told him that everything has a system or a way that causes it to run smoothly.  Where he was in jail has a system, when he goes to court there is a system, at the hospital there is a system, in school there is a system and on earth, the God of love and order, has a system that I didn’t know much about until I repented and became born again.  Peter said repent and be converted and God’s Divine system will empower you to walk above the systems or the kingdoms of this earth.  Repent means to turn away from your past wrongs and be converted to Christ means to join His Holy Ghost system where Jesus is both the Savior and Lord of your life.  It’s here in this Divine system that times of refreshing are released from the presence of the Lord.  May you today receive a time of refreshing.
This is Father’s Day weekend and we will have with us the Lumber River Quartet ministering on Sunday morning.  They will also be doing a benefit concert at our church to raise money for the Christian School on Saturday evening.  On Sunday morning we do have some special plans for our dad’s and I will be sharing for a few minutes on, ‘A Father’s Word.’  God our Heavenly Father arrived into a world that was a mess and He spoke and it changed everything.  May earthly fathers follow the example of our Heavenly Father and know how to speak to messes and turn them into messages of love and grace.  There will be no evening service this Sunday.
Continue to pray for those in need.  Hope to see you over the weekend, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Praise the Lord for another wonder filled week.  I received an email today asking if I could help them find out more about how to place their faith in God.  It’s not just in church that people are looking for answers but everywhere people are questioning their spiritual life and their need for help to be pointed in the right direction.  I say thank God for the Body of Christ and all those who have been preparing to be ready for what God is about to do.   On Monday and Tuesday I was in Ottawa to attend the National Prayer Breakfast.  There was a Monday evening meal together with Senators, government leaders from all parties, and the presence of Almighty God.  Tuesday morning was the National Prayer Breakfast and it was wonderful to hear our national leaders Hon. Jason Kenney Conservative, MP Joe Comartin NDP, and MP Justin Trudeau leader of the Liberal party read from the scriptures.  The Speaker for the Senate, Speaker for the House of Commons also shared with us, and they had General Lawson the Chief of National Defense close in prayer.  I came home with a new hope for our nation to see revival and a renewed burden to pray for our government leaders.
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘Overcoming Offence.’  We just finished a 4 week Bible Study with Joyce Myers on how to handle offence.  Once we learn something new the question is are we a hearer of the word only or are we a hearer and a doer?  It’s impossible that no offences would come your way but what do you do when they do come?  Sunday evening, ‘Success Is At Hand.’  God always wants us to move forward.  If we believe that the best is yet to come then we need to be moving forward into our future where the best is waiting for us to receive.
Next Sunday is Father’s Day and we will have with us the Lumber River Quartet.  This is just a great group who know how to sing with a wonderful message of hope and healing.  I was blessed to hear them live in Moncton last summer so if you can invite someone to come with you.  There will be no evening service on Father’s Day.
Continue to pray for all those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love Pastor Kevin and Alice

Friday, May 31st, 2013

It’s a warm Friday that feels more like a day in summer than the end of May.  We had our closing for the Bible Study this past Wednesday evening and I said that we always need to connect with others who have a positive influence in our life.  By doing this we maintain a fullness that can handle all the draining situations that come our way.  If we don’t have a fullness and someone needs us to share with them, we will have nothing to give.  This summer stay connected to God, His Holy Spirit, His Word, the Fellowship of His Saints, and prayer.
Here we are the first Sunday in June and that means it’s Family Sunday.  We start at 10:15 with some breakfast food followed by the morning service.  I’ll be sharing on, ‘How To Navigate Life.’  We may have a great desire but there is a right way and a wrong way to arrive at our destination.  God’s GPS (God’s Powerful Spirit) will lead us and guide us into all truth.  Invite a friend to come with you and share in the service.  There will be a building Fund offering and Communion, there is no evening service on family Sunday.
Continue to pray for those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice.
