What a great day that the Lord has made.  Last Sunday morning I shared that there are three things we were created for.  To learn, to grow, and to walk with God.  Each day this week I have been more keenly aware of these three things.  This morning I was at the Prayer Breakfast and then I went to the funeral service for Valerie Lafitte's sister.  In both places the Holy Spirit spoke to me to listen to learn so I might grow and be able to walk with God better.  Why don't you take some time today to focus on learning and growing so you can walk with God in greater ways.
This Sunday in the morning I'll be sharing on 'Our Anointing.'  What is the anointing and what is it not?  The Lord wants you to experience the light of His powerful anointing that's in church on Sunday so you can take it home and into your world to dispel and overcome the darkness around you.  Sunday evening Ross & Dee MacInnes from Calgary who were the guest speakers at the Prayer breakfast will be sharing their story.  Invite a friend to church and enjoy the presence of the Lord.
Continue to pray for those in need, looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Hi everyone, the Good Friday service in Glace Bay was such a blessing with a full house.  It's always so special to gather with the sense of family, love, and unity.  Coming up tomorrow is our Men's Breakfast @ 8:30 @ the Salvation Army Church in Sydney.  Great music, good food, wonderful friends, and the blessing of a word to men in the 21st century.  Then we have Easter Sunday morning with praise and worship to our risen Saviour.  I'll be sharing on, 'His Power and His Purpose.'  Take your camera and get some pictures.  We have a few special things lined up so don't miss it.  We should be streaming again as we had some computer problems the last 2 weeks.  There will be no evening service this Sunday.
Continue to pray for all those in need.  Hope to see you soon, lots of love Pastor Kevin and Alice

Praise the Lord for His Amazing mercy and grace.  This week I asked a question at Bible study; (about 40 people) on a scale of 1-10 how much does it bother you if someone lies to you?  Almost everyone said 10. I thought afterwards how we are made in the image of God so I wonder how much it bothers God when someone lies to Him.  In the New Testament after Jesus died on the cross and rose again, in the book of Acts, 2 people died on the spot for lying to the Holy Spirit.  In the last chapter of the last book of the Bible.  Revelations 21:6-8 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.  He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.  But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."  I would have to say from scripture that God scores a 10 when it comes to someone lying to Him.  Lying and truth from the same mouth is like muddy water and clear water in the same glass.  As believers we need to be only speaking the truth in love if we want the world to only hear the truth and come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
This Sunday is Palm Sunday and in the morning I'll be sharing on, 'A Difference of Opinion.'  What the Holy Spirit is doing and what we think He's doing maybe different.  Misunderstanding God will always lead us into the weary land of confusion.  Sunday evening, 'Keeping Tabs on Your Talent.'  Everyone has something to offer in making the church whole.  How does your talent fit into the body of Christ?
Remember to pray for all those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love Pastor Kevin and Alice

1 Peter 1:3-4 "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade."  As believers our hope doesn't came from us attaining better circumstances, a better pay check, or better health but our hope is a living hope in our living Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.
This is Family Sunday and we begin @ 10:15 with breakfast followed for the morning service.  We will have with us as our special speaker Pastor Bruce Morrison.  Pastor Bruce Pastor's the Christian Fellowship Church in New Glasgow.  Pastor Bruce has a burden for the lost and worked for many years as a missionary to the Labrador coast.  He's on the board of directors for Bridges of Canada a Prison Ministry founded by Monty Lewis.  Pastor Bruce also worked at ground zero in New York City as a volunteer.  Bring some food and some friends and lets enjoy the presence of the Lord together.  There is no evening service on Family Sunday.
Continue to pray for those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice
