Praise the Lord for the Friday email on Thursday.  Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."  Why is it so important what you think about?  Someone said that what you think about you bring about.  If what's in your heart you speak and if life and death are in the power of the tongue, we need to think right, to talk right, to walk right, if we want to end up in the right place.  A wondering mind comes before wondering feet.  Your mind is a wonderful gift from God that needs to be fed the right information.  We need to fix on mind or feed on mind on things above if we want to daily walk in heavenly places.  Take a moment to think about what you think about and apply the above verse to your mind.
This Sunday morning I'll be sharing on, 'Dealing With Doubt.'  What do you do when living by faith becomes frustrating?  Where do you turn when what you thought was the way it was is not the way it is?  Sunday evening Pastor Mark will be sharing the word and he always has insight to reveal from the Holy Spirit.
A week from Saturday, that's Nov.2nd  at the Holiday Inn in Sydney @7:30 pm, Rachel Colford is having her new CD release.  The Lord has truly gifted Rachel with a great anointing to worship.  Everyone is invited to celebrate with her the songs that she sings from her heart.
Also a week from this Sunday, Nov.3rd it's Family Sunday.  Don't forget next week to invite a friend to come with you to Family Sunday.
Continue to pray for those in need, looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Someone said that the best place to look for a helping hand is at the end of your own arm.  I believe it means if you need help to solve a problem the first place to look is inward.  You can't expect others to help you with your problem if you are unwilling to help yourself.  People that present a problem but expect you to fix their problem become high maintenance relationships.  Jesus said to His disciples, follow me and you will be made into what God intended for you to become.  Jesus can lead us but it was up to us to follow if we want to become.  Someone else following Jesus doesn't fix me, I need to follow and as I do His strength empowers me to help me.  Be determined today to follow the Lord.
Tomorrow is the Loaves and Fishes Food Drive.  All those interested in helping can show up before 9:30 at Loaves and Fishes.  This Sunday morning I'll be sharing on, "A Lost Ministry."  What happens when you lose something important and how do you get it back?  Sunday evening I'll be sharing on "Spiritual Order."  God is the God of order and when things becoming confusing it's a sign that it's out of Godly order.  A sign that a person has found Christ will be the new way that they order their life and the things that are important on God's list, becomes what's important on our list.
Continue to pray for those in need, looking forward to seeing you on Sunday. lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus.  Alice and I were away for 11 days in Alberta and while there we visited my brother and his wife for 4 days and then attended the National Ministers Conference in Calgary.  The conference was very busy, leaving the hotel between 8 and 9am each morning and arriving back after 10pm at night.   I have discovered that going away doesn't mean that I had a rest.  God made everything in 6 days and on the 7th day He rested.  I have a strong belief that faithfully working is a great part of living a successfully and yet we also need to rest if we are going to renew our strength to work yet for another day.  Rest refreshes us and makes us more alert and less likely to make mistakes.  You can say things the wrong way when you're tired that you wouldn't say if you were rested.  God is our example of balance, He worked and He rested.  Some good old fashion hard work is wonderful but don't forget to also have some good old fashion rest.
This is Thanksgiving Sunday and I'll be sharing on, 'The Harvest Is In The Seed.'  Your present harvest is the result of a former seed.  If you have no seed then you can have no harvest.  It is God who provides our seed and the environment to grow the seed and we are to work together with God and receive our just reward.  I am thankful for past and present times of harvest and for the seeds that are in the soil of my heart for the future.  This is no evening service this Sunday.
Continue to pray for those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice.
