Praise the Lord for He gave us His blessings that we could become a blessing to others.  We are to love others with the same love He gives us.  Forgive others according to how He has forgiven us and on and on it goes.  Everything that comes from God that’s for you, is to go through you to the world around you.  We often ask God for some great blessings with no intention of sharing them with others.  God wants to bless us and it’s up to us to have the right heart in receiving them.  Look at the stuff around you, the stuff that belongs to you and then look at your heart, is all that you own yours or is it the tools the Lord has supplied to you to bless others?  Christmas is the greatest revelation of this principle.  God had His Son in Heaven but God so loved the world that he was willing to share His Son to meet our need.  Jesus could have stayed in Heaven and left us in our sin but He shared what He had with us.  He was blessed to be the Son of God and to have sinless blood and He gave His blood to redeem you and me.  When you see someone in need be generous with all that the Lord has blessed you with.
Tonight @ 7 and next Friday @ 7 our choir will be singing at the Mayflower Mall.  If you at around drop by and support them as they sing the songs of the Christmas season.  Tomorrow Saturday there is a practice for all those involved in the Sunday School Christmas presentation which will be the main event Sunday morning.  We consider this to be a highlight of the year as the children act out the Christmas story.  There will be no evening service this Sunday.  Next Sunday Dec. 23 regular morning service with a 6 pm evening service with singing, rejoicing, worship, and pray.  On Monday Dec. 24th @10:30 we sing at Loaves and Fishes for 1 hour.  All of these events are being posted on our web page.  Please check it out if you have any questions or send me an email.
Continue to pray for those in need, hope to see you over the weekend, lots of love Pastor Kevin and Alice

Another day to give thanks and another day to share God’s love with someone. How important is it to love others?  John 13:35 “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”  I could read 1 Corinthians 13 as some of the rules on love but most of us understand about what it means to love.  Most of us have the Bible kind of love for our children, grandchildren, and our spouse but do we have that same level and desire to love all other people?  The greater we love all people the greater we will understand God’s message of love and how it applies to the entire world.  Be aware to show all the people you meet today the love of God.
Tomorrow evening….. Dec. 8th is Christmas Banquet 2012.  We’ll have special music, great food, and fellowship with guest speaker Pastor Sherrie MacLean.  On Sunday Dec. 9th there will be a morning service only and our guest speaker is Pastor Steve MacLean.  Pastor’s Steve and Sherrie Pastor at the Moncton Victory Church and are the overseers for the Victory Churches in Atlantic Canada.  Our choir have been practicing and they sound like Angels.  On Friday Dec. 14th and Friday Dec. 21st our choir will be singing at the Mayflower Mall @ 7pm.  Sunday Dec. 16th is our Christmas Sunday School Presentation, there will be no evening service.  Sunday Dec.
Continue to pray for all those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you at the Banquet, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Bless the Lord oh my soul.  Jesus picked His Disciples on purpose for a purpose.  They were chosen in their day just as we have been chosen in our day.  We have been Chosen on purpose in spite of the fact that we are just like they were with our own struggles, weaknesses, and fears.  The good news is we have faith and Jesus saw that in us when He chose us and by faith we can overcome our struggles, weaknesses, and fears.  We were the right choice to change our world unless you think God makes mistakes.  You are the exact right choice to be a witness to your friends.  Now don’t get to puffed up.  1 Corinthians 1:27 “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty.”  God saw your problems as stones that could be used as weights to bring you down or stepping stones to bring you up into a better future.  He will set you free and bring you into blessing to reveal just how powerful He is.  So lift up your head, God picked you, and I believe He made a great choice.
This is one year ago this month since we started having Family Sunday.  I want to thank all those that make it happen, bringing in food, inviting friends, and by showing love and kindness.  We start @ 10:15 with breakfast food, followed by the service.  I’ll be speaking on, ‘A Shadow Reveals Things.’  We will also receive a Building Fund Offering, we will share in the Communion, and on Family Sunday there is no evening service.  Next Saturday Dec. 8th is our Christmas Banquet, guest speaker Pastor Sherrie MacLean.  Then on Sunday Dec. 9th there will be a morning service only, our guest speaker Pastor Steve MacLean.  Pastor’s Steve and Sherrie Pastor at the Moncton Victory Church and are the overseers for the Victory Churches in Atlantic Canada.  Friday Dec. 14th and Friday Dec. 21st our choir will be singing at the Mayflower Mall @ 7pm.  Sunday Dec. 16th is our Christmas Sunday School Presentation, there will be no evening service.  There is no Bible Studies on the Wednesday’s. in Dec. as our choir is using that evening to prepare for their special events. Sunday Dec.

Praise the Lord for another day to enjoy.  It’s that time of year when things are starting to get chilly and we need to turn up the heat.  There was one person who kept their home real cold, when people would say, ‘it’s cold in here,’ he would reply, ‘that’s the way that I like it.’   I have discover over the years that some people can have a cold personality and it seems, ‘that’s the way that they like it.’  Their cold shoulder, freezing glare, ice box words all work to keep a chilly atmosphere around them.  Enough cold people in a room or in a church and no one is enjoying themselves and no one wants to be there.  Work today to be a warmer person. Warm up to others and others will warm up to you.
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘A Proper Turnaround.’  In the military they teach everyone the proper way to turnaround or what they call, ‘about face!’  The Bible gives us a proper process to have a turnaround.  It’s when you want to go from going in the wrong direction to going in the right direction.  Not everyone follows the correct way to turn so things don’t turn out right.  Sunday evening Pastor Bruce will be sharing the word of the Lord and he always gives us some meat of the word to chew on.  Invite a friend and enjoy the service.
Next Sunday Dec. 2nd is Family Sunday and we start @ 10:15, no evening service on Family Sunday.  Saturday Dec. 8th is our Christmas Banquet, guest speaker Pastor Sherrie MacLean.  Sunday Dec. 9th there will be a morning service only, guest speaker Pastor Steve MacLean. Sunday Dec. 23 regular morning service with a 6 pm evening service with singing, rejoicing, worship, and pray.  On Monday Dec. 24th @10:30 we sing at Loaves and Fishes for 1 hour.  All of these events are being posted on our web page.  Please check it out if you have any questions.

Onward Christian soldier or onward Christian whatever your duty calls you to do today.  We are a Christian because we belong to Christ so our position is fixed in Christ.  What we do from that position of belonging to Christ is according to how mature we are in our mind, will, and emotions.  Some people are truly saved but are yet still really immature.  Our job then comes in serving the Lord with gladness or having a servant’s heart.  This was the great example set by Jesus.  If you want to show Christ today, find a need and offer your help to fix it.
This Sunday in the am I’ll be sharing on, ‘All Aboard.’  Often in our walk with God we encounter an opportunity to go higher but we miss the ride that would take us there.  The opportunity of a lifetime must be taken within the lifetime of the opportunity.  Your miracle has a shelf life or a best before date.  Are you all aboard for what the Lord is about to do?  In the pm I’ll be sharing on, ‘We Are Who We Are.’ We are not divine but we do have a divine assignment.  How do we serve Him who is righteous when all our righteousness is a filthy rags?
Continue to pray for all those in need.  Invite someone to church with you this week.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

This is great day to be a part of the Kingdom of God.  Just as in the way that all of creation was created by the living Word so our Heavenly Father is still holding everything together.  The faithfulness of our God has been to do this since time began and His future promises are eternal.  Some days we may think that things are out of control because it seems like our personal world is out of control.  It’s only by trusting in the Lord that we learn that all things will and do work together for good.  Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but if we keep believing, Faithful One will work all things out to reveal His glory.
Tonight @ 7 the Christian School is having an evening of praise and worship to celebrate what the Lord has done at the school and all are welcome to attend. (Dress warm)
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘Healing Us All.’  Jesus has the authority and the power to heal us all but sometimes our past thinking stands against us, like an enemy it keeps us from receiving His present truth.  Often the Word works to renew our mind to reposition us so we can receive the healing word we need.  Sunday evening Pastor Mark will be sharing the Word.  Pastor Mark and his dad Maurice have been doing a lot of renovations lately.  Pastor Mark and Amy have bought a older home on Curry Street.  They have been deep in the process of ripping up, tearing down, remolding and remodeling to make that which was one way anew.  Sounds like the Gospel to me.
Continue to pray for those in need.
Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice

Psalm 103:1-2 “Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.”  The Lord is worthy of all our praise because He is forever good.  He not only promises us great and precious promises but He delivers whatever He has promised.  It’s one thing to promise something great but it’s another thing to deliver.  The good news is God can do exceedingly above all that we can ask or think.  If you don’t have much to thank God for today then look up to the Lord and He will reveal Himself and you will rejoice.
This is Family Sunday and we are expecting a great day in the House of the Lord.  We start @10:15 with some breakfast food followed by our morning service.  I will be sharing on, ‘The Keys To The Kingdom.’  A key works to open a lock because it is a key.  The person using the key doesn’t need to be perfect but only willing to use the key.  We will also be receiving a special Building Fund offering.  There will be special music and we will end the service with Communion.  Don’t forget to invite a friend or two to church.  On Family Sunday there is no evening service.
Continue to pray for those in need.  Lots of love, looking forward to seeing you, Pastor Kevin and Alice
