Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear..."
This verse would not need to be in the Bible if believers never found
themselves in trouble. The verse tells us that our Lord God is a very
present help. That means He's not just a help in yesterday's trouble, nor a help that may come by in tomorrow's problems but right here, right now, in this very moment He is our refuge and strength.
A refuge is a place that believers can go to when there is danger, He's
truly our shelter in the times of storm. We are safe because He is
strong and His strength is stronger than any weapon that could be formed
against us. By walking in this confidence we find the power to live
and move in freedom.
This Sunday is Mother's Day and we have a special gift for every Mother. We are expecting a great day of worship and celebration in the house of the Lord. We have a wonderful lady, Rosemary Osasere, who will be sharing the Word of the Lord with us. Come out and bring a friend.
