Praise the Lord for He is good.  Jesus not only saves us but He wants to live in us and be the Lord over us.  In order for that to happen we are required to make room for Him to dwell in us.  When I got saved I repented and I became empty of me and wanted to fill me with all of Him.  Colossians 1:27 “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”   We can have an open heart but it’s full of all that we have and all that we’ve done.  We need both an open empty heart and a heart that has room for the glory of the Lord.  We may want more of Jesus but have we made room for more of Jesus to live in us?  Man looks of the outward appearance of who we are but God looks at the heart.  Jesus made room at the cross for you but have you made room in your life for Him?  Ask the Lord today to pour Himself into you as you make room for Him.
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘Living Beyond Regret.’  It is so easy to live in the regret of yesterday and to be held as a prisoner of past mistakes.  When we understand the answer to freedom we can live beyond our mistakes and walk in victory.  In the evening Pastor Bruce will be sharing the word.  "The Delta Dawn/Miss Havisham Syndrome."  Traumatic events that happen in our past can have lasting, crippling and devastating effects on our lives if we are not able to move on.  Delta Dawn had been jilted by a lover who promised marriage and she spent her life trying to relive the past hoping to recapture the lost promise.  Miss Havisham, jilted by her groom-to-be just shortly before her wedding became stuck in time and developed a vengeful hatred toward men that seemed to know no bounds until near the end of her wasted life.  Paul says to forget the past for a reason -- it is healthy and allows us to move forward into what God has for us today and tomorrow!
Continue to pray for the those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love Pastor Kevin and Alice
